We are currently hiring a Service Advisor based at our Park Royal location.
As a Service Advisor, you’ll be among the first people our customers meet when seeking advice to protect their homes, travel the world, and stay safe on BC roads. You’ll meet their needs by recommending memberships or travel and auto insurance.

During a typical day, you will:
Greet our customers in person and over the phone, promoting BCAA insurance products and services tailored to their needs, including new memberships, travel insurance, ICBC, and optional auto insurance.
Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend appropriate coverage.
Identify cost-saving opportunities to support our customers’ life events and future needs.
Work with team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
Enhance your industry knowledge through participation in BCAA’s training courses, maintain your annual licensing, and stay updated on products and services in a supportive environment.
What you bring
At least two years of experience in a sales and service environment.
Level 1 Insurance license (or a commitment to obtain it within 45 days, with BCAA providing support).
Completion of Autoplan Essentials (or a commitment to complete within three months, supported by BCAA).
A clean Errors & Omissions history and good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
Comfort with technology, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Bonus qualifications: CAIB certification, knowledge of ICBC systems, and multilingual abilities beyond English.
Internal Applicants: The application deadline is end of day May 5, 2025. This is a Grade 5 position.
The salary range is $41,278.32 to $51,597.96, determined by knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. The role includes a performance bonus target of 12.5%, up to 21.5%.
