Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated Server (Part-Time) for the Cloudstreet Restaurant team. You will deliver exceptional dining experiences, take accurate orders, present selections, and provide attentive service throughout each meal.

You will learn our menu and beverages, confidently recommend items, and anticipate guests’ needs to ensure an exceptional experience. Schedule includes varied shifts; wage starts at $19.55/hour, rising to $22.80 after six months and $26.06 after one year.

Qualifications

• Must have BC Serving It Right certificate.
• Must have Food Safe Level 1 certificate.
• Must be available to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have previous customer service experience.
• Must have at least one year serving experience in a hotel, restaurant or pub setting.
• Must have good upselling skills.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge and previous experience with POS Micros system is preferred.
• Must have refined and professional communication skills at all times.
• Must be able to adapt to a diverse environment.
• Must be an excellent team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have an upbeat personality and remain positive and professional at all times.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Restaurant and Culinary teams to ensure seamless daily operations.

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a dedicated, professional,customer service-orientatedindividual to join theCloudstreet Restaurant team as a Server (Part-Time).

Restaurant Servers are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by accurately taking guest orders, presenting food and beverage selections, and ensuring attentive, personalized service throughout each meal.In this role, the Restaurant Server will develop a strong knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, confidentially make recommendations, and anticipated guests' needs to ensure an exceptional dining experience.Other duties include preparing the restaurant for service, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to food safety standards, and collaborating with the Restaurant and Culinary teams to ensure seamless daily operations.

This position requires the associate to work a variety of shifts, including, but not limited to,early mornings, evenings, weekend and holidays.

Wage for this position starts at $19.55 per hour, after six months the wage is $22.80 per hour and after one year it increases to $26.06 per hour.
