Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented, customer service oriented and dedicated Event ServicesHouseperson (Regular) to join our Event Services team.
The Event Services Houseperson is responsible for set-ups and tear down of Banquet rooms in which a great deal of lifting, carrying, and moving moderate weight equipment is involved. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact. Other duties include general events preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment (Event service station setups, stock replenishment, equipment organization and cleaning).
Candidate must be available to work flexible shiftsincluding weekends and holidays Shifts could either be opening shifts (AM, MID or PM) which start at 5:00AM and/or closing shifts until 2:30AM.
Starting wage for this position is $22.78 per hour, after 6 months wage is $26.57 per hour, after 1 year wage is $30.37 per hour.
