Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a Server Assistant (Full-Time) to join our fast-paced Restaurant and In-room Dining team. The role focuses on supporting servers, delivering attentive service and maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness.

Candidates should have strong communication, be a team player, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Starting wage is CAD 22.11/hour, rising to CAD 29.48/hour after one year.

Qualifications

• Must have true desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Food and beverage experience is an asset.
• Must have Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificates.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts as needed.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with a diverse guest pool.
• Able to engage customers professionally and multitask effectively.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented, customer service oriented and dedicatedServer Assistant (Full-Time) to join our fast-paced, full-service Restaurant and In-room Dining team.

The Server Assistant is responsible primarily for assisting the Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment (service station setups, stock replenishment, equipment organization and cleaning).

Candidate must be available to work flexible shiftsincluding weekends and holidays. Starting wage for this position is $22.11 per hour, after 6 months wage is $25.80 per hour, after 1 year wage is $29.48 per hour.
