Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer for a long-term contract/full-time role in Toronto. The position is hybrid with 4 days onsite, focusing on creating scalable design systems and accessible user experiences for a diversified financial services client.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate advanced proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and collaboration tools, and will contribute to a mature design library while applying AODA and WCAG guidelines to ensure inclusive products.

Qualifications

Iris's Direct client, a highly diversified financial services provider based in Canada is looking to hire a Sr. UX Designer f for a Long Term Contract / Full Time opportunity.

Location: Hybrid Toronto – 4 days onsite

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Proficient in design, prototyping, and project management tools: Figma, MURAL, Adobe Creative Suite, Confluence, JIRA etc.
• Mastery of visual design skills (i.e., grids, balance, color theory), excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the principles of atomic design, including symbols, layer styles, and variables.
• Extensive experience working with and growing a design library, as well as creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems.
• Strong knowledge and application of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) guidelines and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) to ensure designs are inclusive and accessible to all users.
