Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive web and mobile interfaces. You will create wireframes, user flows, mockups and prototypes, and work with product managers, developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs.

You will conduct user research, usability testing, and maintain design systems and style guides, ensuring accessibility and modern UX standards across products.

Qualifications

• Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Experience creating responsive interfaces and design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and user research.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive, user-centric web and mobile application interfaces.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI standards.
• Translate business requirements into engaging user experiences.
• Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with modern UX best practices.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Analyze user behavior and identify opportunities to improve usability and engagement.

Required Skills:

• Good experience in UI/UX Design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile application designs.
• Hands-on experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Expertise in Wireframing, Prototyping, User Research, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
• Strong understanding of Responsive Design and Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
• Experience creating Design Systems and UI Component Libraries.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end design principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of UX analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Motion Design and Micro-interactions.
• Familiarity with AI-powered product design and emerging UX trends.
• Experience collaborating with distributed/global teams.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
