Base pay range

CA$45.00/hr - CA$52.00/hr

Our client is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their team for the next 6 months. This will likely extend. It is fulltime hours per week, and onsite 2x per week in Downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities:

1. You will be working on online banking assets.
2. You will be working alongside an email design and specialized document delivery team to create outstanding digital experiences.
3. This role requires both Visual Design and UX Design expertise and you will be involved from concept creation to design delivery with minimum guidance.
4. You will create digital experiences that are thoughtful, compelling and meet marketing strategies and business goals.
5. You will participate in observational studies, usability testing and other user research.
6. You will design and create reusable components in Figma.
7. You will help build robust email Design System.
8. You will provide detailed specifications to developers.
9. You will actively contribute to the Design system library.

What is needed:

1. 4 years of experience designing interactive experiences (or equivalent work experience).
2. Comprehensive understanding of interaction and UI design.
3. Passion for creating simple and stunning visual design solutions.
4. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and UX tools.
5. Fundamental understanding of responsive web design and mobile application design.
6. Experience working with financial products, and in an Agile environment.
