FLSmidth is seeking a detail-loving Payroll Specialist to ensure US and Canada colleagues are paid accurately and on time. This role covers monthly payroll processing, data validation, and close collaboration with internal teams and external providers to maintain impeccable payroll records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of US & Canada payroll experience is required.
• Bi-weekly and weekly payroll processing is advantageous.
• Experience with global HRIS & payroll systems is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for US & Canada with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to submit payroll data.
• Maintain payroll records and support documentation for audits.
• Respond to employee payroll questions clearly and professionally.
• Assist with payroll reporting, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local laws.
• Adhere to KPIs and SLAs; suggest simple process improvements.
