Are you the person we’re looking for?

As a Senior Technical Sales Consultant, you will leverage your technical expertise and knowledge of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management (CEM) Software & Services. You will articulate and promote AtHoc’s value proposition to our global customers, driving adoption across Government, Security, Commercial, Healthcare, and Education sectors by working closely with customers and partners as the technical expert for AtHoc. Collaborating with the sales team, you will need to be highly credible in complex technical discussions with customers and partners.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage with top customers, demonstrating the value of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management.
  • Respond to bids, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) activities from start to finish.
  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations remotely and on-site.
  • Provide technical expertise on BlackBerry AtHoc solutions to accounts, prospects, and partners in pre-sales and post-sales capacities.
  • Represent BlackBerry AtHoc at industry events as a product expert and speaker.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional team engagement from Pre-Sales to Post-Sales.
  • Refine and research technical requirements for sales opportunities by collaborating with internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop comprehensive account plans and achieve sales goals.
  • Track account activity throughout the sales process.
  • Identify applications, tools, and resources to maximize customer success and solution value.
  • Build and support technical labs for demonstrations and training.
  • Lead the Technical Support Escalation process for your customers.
  • Engage with product and service enhancement processes and report on field innovations.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers within your territory (up to 60%).

You will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value of Critical Event Management solutions for various applications.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous B2B solution sales engineering experience, especially in enterprise software.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft systems, including SQL, IIS, and Windows Server OS.
  • Experience with technical presales, software platform support, or IT solution implementation.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French, both conversationally and technically.

A bonus would be a broad knowledge of Critical Event Management or physical security systems, but this is not mandatory. Our Sales Enablement team will provide training, tools, and resources to support your success.
