Job summary

Equitable, a Canadian mutual company, is seeking a creative Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will partner with hiring managers to lead workforce planning, craft sourcing strategies, and manage full-cycle recruitment for professional roles in a hybrid Canada-wide environment.

You will influence compensation discussions, promote inclusive hiring, and leverage ATS and analytics to improve outcomes. A strong candidate experience and collaboration across HR are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of recruiting experience required.
• HR designation (CHRP/CHRL) preferred; RPR designation would be an asset.
• Proven candidate sourcing using tools like Indeed and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to leaders, guiding workforce planning and recruitment strategy.
• Develop and execute sourcing and attraction strategies for diverse pipelines.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, and leadership roles.
• Build strong relationships with hiring leaders, candidates, and recruiters.
• Lead assessment, interviewing, offers, and reference checks.
• Provide guidance on compensation, talent availability, and hiring risks.
