Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Insurance Education & Engagement / Inside Sales Representative develops contacts and business relationships with medical schools, universities, OMA, CMA, medical student societies, and other medical associations. This role educates members, medical students, residents, and physicians about the value and capabilities of OMA Insurance, products, and services.

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Present and educate medical professionals about insurance products and services through presentations, events, seminars, and social media.
  • Identify sales opportunities with medical students and residents, while referring members seeking advice to OMA Insurance advisors.
  • Develop and execute an Education and Engagement plan to meet targets for events and outreach.
  • Coordinate educational initiatives and gather market insights to inform stakeholders.
Requirements That Are Important To Us
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • Three to four years of experience creating and delivering presentations to large groups.
  • Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) Certificate.
  • Strong presentation, content development, communication, leadership, and public speaking skills.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s license and access to a vehicle for regional travel.
Asset Qualifications/Experiences
  • Knowledge of group and individual insurance products.
  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing.
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation.
  • Knowledge of retirement products like RRSP, TFSA, annuities, and retirement planning.

The OMA supports a hybrid work environment, requiring some days in Toronto office and regional travel as needed.
