Job summary

Partner Company in Canada is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead technical sales engagements, design API-based solutions, and translate complex customer needs into scalable architectures for critical public safety applications.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and customers to deliver demos, pilots, and POCs while applying AI tools to accelerate prototyping and ensure successful outcomes. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of engineering experience with 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience with API-based or SaaS products in pre-sales, discovery, or post-sales engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript (Python preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to engage directly with clients and translate needs into solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for engineering and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience in telecommunications is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical customer engagements through pre-sales, demos, pilots, and POCs.
• Translate requirements into architecture, API strategies, and integrations with workflows.
• Deliver customized technical presentations and demonstrations for clients.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account strategies and trusted advisor relationships.
• Produce technical documentation, solution specs, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Assess scope, feasibility, and risks with customers and internal teams.
• Align expectations across Sales, Engineering, Product, and Public Safety teams.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate prototyping and solution development.
