Job summary

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc is seeking a Solution Designer in Canada. The role focuses on modernizing life insurance policy systems, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with architectural direction across multiple teams.

You'll contribute to AI-enabled efficiency with Copilot/Claude, lead design reviews, and drive best practices in a bilingual, cross-Canada context. A hybrid work model is available with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in solution design or application architecture.
Advanced French and English proficiency for daily collaboration across Canada.
Experience with Microsoft technologies, especially .NET and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

Design robust, high-performing, secure, and scalable application solutions that meet business needs.
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions aligned with the organization’s architectural direction.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business partners to plan implementations.
Ensure design integrity throughout the delivery lifecycle and support teams in implementing solutions.
Lead architectural discussions and technology choices.
Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-system impacts.
Support production incidents and improve operational stability.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
Promote AI adoption (Copilot/Claude) to improve productivity and quality.
