Green Diamond Equipment in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, seeks a Service Manager to direct the service team, optimize operations, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction in a busy branch.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff while aligning with manufacturer standards and driving results. This on-site role emphasizes safety, budgeting, and collaboration with sales for timely repairs and quotes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a managerial role (Shop Foreman, Lead Hand, Supervisor, etc.).
• Above-average computer skills (Microsoft Office etc.).
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with team members to achieve results.
• Understanding of service department financials and ability to analyze internal reports.
• Experience in agricultural, heavy equipment, or related industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate job expectations, monitor results, and coach staff.
• Ensure manufacturer warranty procedures are followed by staff.
• Use business systems to create and monitor work/repair orders.
• Be the main contact for customers and sales when scheduling repairs and providing updates.
• Create schedules and staffing based on priority and skill set.
• Monitor department efficiencies, budget and expenses.
• Lead recruitment, staffing and training plans for the service team.
