Green Diamond Equipment, Halifax, NS, is recruiting a John Deere Turf & Compact Construction Equipment Sales Representative to join our Halifax team. The role focuses on promoting John Deere turf and construction gear and related maintenance and service offerings.

You will build relationships with customers, present solutions, and help prepare events while supporting financing options and service contracts. The position emphasizes achieving sales goals and delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Ability to analyze basic sales reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area/store.
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events including aftermarket events.
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
• Maintains exceptional customer service and aims to meet annual sales goals.
• Promotes service contracts to new and existing customers.
• Manages rental fleet and ensures paperwork is in order and submitted timely.

Purpose

Promote new and used John Deere Turf and Compact Construction Equipment, as well as service offerings including maintenance packages, annual inspections, etc. available through Green Diamond.
