Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Canada to lead construction from pre-construction through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and coordination align with project goals. You will manage client and consultant interfaces, drive cash flow, and guide a large project team to successful outcomes.

The role requires extensive PM experience in ICI construction, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining professional relations with Owners and Architects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in ICI construction with at least 7 years in a Project Manager role.
• Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
• Ability to mentor a large team and maintain strong client relations.
• CISD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction management from pre-construction to completion with schedule, budget, and coordination.
• Prepare regular billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
• Meet with Owners and Architects and communicate company concerns and interests effectively.
• Monitor cost reports to ensure alignment with estimates and positive cash flow.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to support team progress.
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and escalate risks when needed.

Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre‑construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
• Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
• Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
• Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in ICI constructions; minimum of 7 years in a Project Manager position
• Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset
• Ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations
• CISD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it
