Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Ontario is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide end-to-end construction management from pre-construction to completion, coordinating with the Superintendent and maintaining project budgets and schedules.

The role requires a construction-related degree or diploma and 15+ years of experience, with ICI project experience considered an asset. Strong leadership and client relationship skills are essential.

  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion with design, coordination, budget, and schedule.
  • Prepare regular, timely billings for Owners and ensure timely payment of subs.
  • Meet with Owners and Architects and communicate concerns and interests of the company.
  • Monitor, forecast, and report project costs to maintain positive cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to support team development.
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and escalate risks when needed.
  • Oversee a team and create opportunities for career development.

You as a Senior Project Manager will:
  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression.
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated.
  • Oversee a team and create opportunities for career development.
Requirements
  • You have a construction related degree/diploma and 15+ years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Experience in ICI construction projects considered an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction scopes, project scheduling, project management practices, and contract management software.
  • Proven ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

The salary range for this job is $110,000 - $150,000 CAD
