Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide end-to-end construction management—from pre-construction through completion—working with the Superintendent on design, coordination, budget, and schedule. You will drive project decisions, lead meetings, and ensure financial performance.

The role emphasizes mentoring a large team, maintaining strong client relations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in ICI constructions; minimum of 8 years in a Project Manager position.
• Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset.
• Ability to mentor and delegate to a large team while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent.
• Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
• Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and communicate concerns and best interests of the company.

You As a Senior Project Manager Will

• Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
• Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
• Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
• Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
• Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Is this the right role for you?
