MHB Group is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator for Construction and Development in Toronto, ON. This role focuses on advancing ownership and broader exposure within multifamily residential projects, working closely with senior Development and Project Management professionals.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on construction experience, a background with rental apartment and/or condominium projects, and a readiness to take on pre-construction, procurement, approvals and development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant construction/project coordination experience.
• Highrise residential construction experience is essential.
• Experience with construction managers, GCs or self-performing developers.

• Coordinate project schedules, milestones, reporting and key deliverables.

Senior Project Coordinator , Construction and Development

Are you an experienced Construction Project Coordinator ready for more ownership and broader exposure?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experiencedProject Coordinator, looking to step upwith strong construction and development experience who wants to expand their exposure working for the owner/developer
Ideally, you’ll come from aConstruction Management firm or self-performing developer, with hands-on experience deliveringmultifamily rental apartment or condominium projects. You’ll already understand the construction side and be ready for a role that gives you greater involvement inpre-construction, procurement, approvals and development.
Joining an established real estate owner and developer, you’ll work closely with senior Development and Project Management professionals and gain exposure to the decisions that drive projects from early stages through construction and delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinate project schedules, milestones, reporting and key deliverables.

Assist withbuilding permits, utility connections and municipal construction approvals.

Track project financials including contracts, committed costs, change orders and invoicing.

Coordinate consultant and Construction ManagementRFPs, tenders and bid comparisons.

Review architectural, civil and construction drawings, identifying inconsistencies and potential issues.

Support projects throughoutpre-construction and active construction.

Work closely with Construction Managers to review schedules, procurement, costs, risks and overall project execution.

Coordinate consultants, project meetings, documentation and communications.

Proactively identify potential issues and help drive solutions before they impactcost, schedule or quality.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be anexperienced Project Coordinator or Senior Project Coordinatorwith a strong understanding of the construction process and the confidence to take on greater responsibility.
Highrise residential construction experience is essential, ideally gained onrental apartment and/or condominium projects.
You’ll ideally bring:

3+ years of relevant construction/project coordination experience.

Experience working for aConstruction Manager, General Contractor or self-performing developer.

Strong knowledge ofmultifamily residential construction.

Good understanding ofpre-construction, tendering, procurement and active construction.

Ability to read and understand architectural, civil and construction drawings.

Experience with project schedules, cost tracking, change orders and tender reviews.

Knowledge of municipal construction approvals would be an asset.

The Package

$80,000–$100,000 base salary, dependent on experience
