Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering robust planning, scheduling, cost control and reporting across Energy & Resources projects. The role emphasizes coaching, collaboration with project managers, and driving KPI-based performance to meet client expectations.

The successful candidate will manage resource planning, standardize processes, and utilize Primavera and MS Office tools to deliver accurate project performance insights.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Degree in engineering or technical diploma is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC/EPCM environment, with 2–3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls team and ensure alignment with KPI targets and business goals.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value analysis.
• Develop and implement project controls procedures, tools, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and finance to ensure reliable cost and schedule data.
