Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to lead the Project Controls team within our Energy & Resources group in North America. The role emphasizes driving robust planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting practices to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

You will supervise a skilled team, align resources, standardize processes, and collaborate with project managers and finance to deliver reliable performance insights across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC/EPCM environment, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and multi-office coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls team across cost and schedule with issue resolution and escalation as needed.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and earned value analysis to support project delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls procedures and KPI’s.
• Collaborate with project managers and finance to ensure accurate status and performance reporting.
• Support recruitment and staffing of the Project Controls team.
• Ensure alignment with Stantec’s KPI targets and strategic direction.
