Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to lead and grow the Project Controls team across our Energy & Resources projects. The role emphasizes robust planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting to support successful delivery for clients.

You will partner with project managers and finance to ensure accurate data, drive continuous improvement, and align resources with project goals. A strong customer-focused mindset and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Degree in engineering or technical diploma is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC, EPCM environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls team and ensure alignment with KPI targets.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project controls reports and dashboards for clients and management.
• Collaborate with project managers and finance to align on status and performance.
• Support proposal development with cost estimates, schedules and resource plans.
