Job summary

Stantec in Mississauga (Canada) seeks a Project Controls Supervisor to lead cost, scheduling, and reporting for Energy & Resources projects across North America.

You’ll standardize processes, mentor staff, and ensure accurate performance insights to support delivery. Strong leadership and client collaboration are essential.

This role requires in-office work across multiple North America locations, with a focus on building high-performance teams and delivering on KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Degree in engineering or technical diploma is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC, EPCM environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Project Controls teams to improve planning and cost control.
• Oversee cost and schedule performance and escalate issues.
• Ensure staffing with appropriate Project Controls resources.
• Support project setup with agreed scope, schedule and budget.
• Communicate KPI goals and monitor progress.
• Support recruitment and talent development.
• Standardize processes and use technology for E&R delivery.
• Maintain project controls reports and client deliverables.
