Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on cost, schedule, and performance reporting for Energy & Resources projects. You will standardize controls practices, develop KPI metrics, and collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver robust insights.

The role requires extensive experience in project controls, a proactive leadership style, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across the Delivery Center.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Degree in engineering or technical diploma is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC, EPCM environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Project Controls team (Cost and Schedule) with issue resolution and decision making.
• Lead Project Controls teams through challenging project assignments and complex client environments.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value analysis.
• Monitor project performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of project controls reports, dashboards, and client deliverables.
