Overview

Join our dynamic Manulife / John Hancock Enterprise Technology Services Team!

As a Senior Dynamics 365 / Power Platform pro-code Engineer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team's mission: Deliver the most capable, governed and compliant service at Manulife. You will craft and refine enterprise-level applications pushing the Power Platform to its limit. Your efforts will demonstrate the versatility of the Power Platform in developing tools while ensuring seamless integration with key systems such as Power BI, Dynamics, Azure.

Office Locations: Montreal - QC or Waterloo - ON or Toronto - ON

Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from home. Remote working option is not available.

Position Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Copilot Studio with a focus on Model Driven apps and Dataverse
  • Leverage Dynamics 365 / Power Platform capabilities to streamline business processes and enhance user experiences
  • Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps
  • Implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Mentor and support junior developers within the team
  • Provide guidance on coding standards and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with clients and internal partners to gather requirements and scope solutions
Required Qualifications
  • At least 8+ years of IT industry experience
  • 5+ years of knowledge within Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Microsoft 365
  • Proven track record of design and delivery of moderately complex projects
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript, Python, T-SQL, PowerShell, GIT, PowerFX
  • Experience with Azure Functions, web applications, storage, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Service Bus, Identity Services, Graph, DevOps and GitHub
  • Security-first approach covering confidentiality, integrity and availability
  • Experience in DevOps software development and/or operations
  • Commercial experience developing cloud-native applications
  • Experience migrating legacy platforms to the cloud
  • Working with a quality-first approach including performance, integration and unit testing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Large enterprise-wide complex environment experience is highly desired but not required

Compensation and Benefits

Referenced Salary Location: CAN, Ontario, Waterloo, 500 King Street North. Working arrangement: Hybrid. Salary range is expected to be between $94,220 CAD and $174,980 CAD. If applying outside the primary location, contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. Actual salary varies by market conditions and factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligible employees may participate in incentive programs.
