Job summary

RBC is seeking a Corporate Actions Processor in Toronto to handle daily payment proceeds, post to client accounts, and respond to client inquiries. You will work within the Corporate Actions Processing team to ensure timely posting, reconciliation, and completeness of payments.

Responsibilities include balancing entitlements from multiple sources, posting on receipt date, and identifying improvements to operations. Strong MS Office skills and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and knowledge of Corporate Action Principals & Custody Platforms.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Balance entitlements from multiple depositories/issuers for internal systems.
• Post entitlements to client accounts on receipt date or when possible.
• Provide relief during vacations by reviewing daily expiring events and ensuring proper tendering.
• Identify and propose improvements to daily operations.
• Investigate and reconcile cash and asset outstanding timely.
• Escalate critical issues to management to contain risk.
• Review PPLs and DOPs regularly and update as required.
