Job summary

Aviso is seeking a Corporate Actions Administrator to join the Operations team in Toronto, Canada. You will handle Canadian and US corporate actions, ensuring accurate tax treatment and timely processing, while supporting DRIPs and entitlements.

Qualifications include post-secondary education, about two years of related experience, and strong analytical and customer service skills. English fluency is required; French is a nice asset.

• Completion of CSC is an asset.

• Ability to analyze discrepancies and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and distribute all Canadian and US depository bulletins.
• Process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions for securities held at Aviso with accuracy and within service standards.
• Process all daily entitlements.
• Ensure all corporate actions have correct US or Canadian tax treatment.
• Set client accounts up for dividend reinvestment plans (DRIPs).
• Provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients.
• Update procedure manuals and adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and seek process improvements ideas.
