Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on nuclear process systems. The role involves independent work or under supervision, following QA programs, preparing detailed designs, and coordinating with clients and suppliers.

Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, a P.Eng license, and at least 10 years in heavy industrial environments, with strong communication and documentation skills. Hybrid work culture is offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical from an accredited university or recognized by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• Must have P.Eng license for this position.
• Minimum 10 years of related mechanical engineering experience in heavy industry (nuclear, mining, oil & gas, power).

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work following QA programs, codes, standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with client, suppliers and design disciplines to execute work.
• Involve in conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of nuclear process systems and modifications.
• Prepare design packages, drawings, calculations and data sheets.
• Lead small or large design teams and provide guidance to designers/drafters.
