Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada seeks an experienced mechanical/civil engineer to lead piping stress analyses and FE modeling for nuclear and non-nuclear projects. You will independently deliver complex analyses, review drawings, and prepare detailed technical documentation under the guidance of senior leads.

The role requires strong knowledge of ASME codes, CSA and regulatory standards, plus experience with PipeStress/Cesar II and FE tools. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from accredited university; PEO-registered in Ontario preferred.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility in Ontario mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress evaluation of piping systems supports per ASME and code requirements, including thermal, fatigue, seismic analyses.
• Prepare engineering computations using PipeStress, Cesar II, MathCAD, GT STRUDL, ANSYS and LS-DYNA.
• Model complex piping and supports with finite element methods.
• Review technical documents, drawings and BOMs for piping systems.
• Review 3D piping models and equipment layouts.
• Support site visits to client sites and supplier shops; assist field construction.
• Adhere to AtkinsRéalis QA programs and relevant codes/regulations.
