Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls engineer to design and develop I&C systems for the Monark Project. The role emphasizes control logic, wiring, specifications, and cross-disciplinary collaboration on a nuclear-focused program.

Requires a 12+ year engineering background, P.Eng, and strong leadership. Nuclear experience is an asset, with a hybrid work culture and commitment to training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in engineering from a university of recognized standing.
• P.Eng membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 12 years of pertinent engineering experience.
• Asset: experience with I&C modernization of a nuclear power plant.
• Asset: operating nuclear power station or similar installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual/detailed design of Candu instrumentation and control systems.
• Specification, sizing, and selection for I&C components with documentation.
• Prepare I&C design documents and supporting analyses.
• Support drawing office with I&C wiring and diagrams.
• Interface with disciplines, suppliers, and other areas of the company.
• Provide technical responses to enquiries and site support.
• Deliver technical presentations and manage schedule and budget.
