Job summary

Kinectrics Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer/Analyst (Mechanical/Piping) to deliver mechanical design and piping engineering for nuclear power plant systems.

The role supports Bruce Power’s major projects and rapid response engineering, with field visits to client sites as required. The ideal candidate has a PE license or eligibility, a strong background in nuclear refurbishment, and extensive experience in design standards, calculations, and vendor interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical/piping engineering.
• Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) or eligible.
• Knowledge of CSA N285, ASME sections III/VIII, B31.1.
• Experience with nuclear refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and piping design for nuclear power plant systems.
• Develop conceptual and detailed equipment/system designs including piping and process systems.
• Prepare design documentation such as specifications, diagrams, isometrics, sizing calculations.
• Provide input throughout the design process from concept to close-out.
• Support permits and respond to station needs with rapid engineering.
