Job summary

Kinectrics is hiring an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer/Scientist for its Design and Engineering Services in Pickering. The role emphasizes delivering safe and reliable electrical and control system solutions for nuclear and conventional power facilities, with leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

The position requires a PE0-eligible engineer with 8+ years of experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a track record of project management and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical / I&C Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience.
• Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) eligibility.
• Knowledge of nuclear/industrial power plant codes and standards.
• Experience in project management and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed equipment designs in a structured process.
• Provide electrical and I&C engineering analyses for power facilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction and stakeholders throughout lifecycle.
• Deliver safe, high-quality control system solutions for nuclear/conventional plants.
• Travel to client sites as required.
