Job summary

Kinectrics is seeking a Senior Engineer / Sr. Analyst (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control) to support Bruce Power’s Major Component Replacement and refurbishment programs.

You will lead design activities, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with industry standards across nuclear and conventional plants. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical/I&C Engineering, PEO status, 8+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of control systems, CSA/N299, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical/I&C Engineering
• 8+ years relevant experience in electrical/I&C engineering
• Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO) or eligible
• Knowledge of CANDU design and/or PWRs, PHWRs, BWRs
• Experience with heavy industry, nuclear refurbishment
• Knowledge of codes and standards (N299, CSA N286)
• Experience in control system theory, analysis and design
• Project management experience and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering expertise for power generation utilities and clients
• Develop conceptual/detailed equipment designs within a structured design process
• Provide field support and mentoring to junior engineers
• Lead or assist design projects and interface with multi-disciplinary teams
• Support proposals, client presentations, and technical reports
• Travel to client sites for walkdowns and project activities
