Job summary

TD is seeking a Senior Manager Commercial Banking & Build for the Future in Toronto to lead a team of marketing professionals focused on developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for Business Banking.

You will provide thought leadership, guide strategic priorities, and collaborate with business leaders to optimize resources and drive growth in shareholder value and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Banking, digital and innovation, including business to business is an asset.
• Telling our Story – ability to effectively communicate the results and sell the value of marketing.
• A strategic thinker with a curious mindset, advanced knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, line of business management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team to understand consumer trends, identify research gaps, plan market research, interpret consumer information for your business, anticipate customer opportunities and apply customer insights.
• Be the voice of the customer for all marketing and customer activities to convert business objectives into effective marketing plans.
• Contribute to the development of business segment and/or enterprise functional strategic priorities within their operational area or field of specialty.
• Provide leadership and approval of campaigns and oversight of marketing execution for all projects and business unit campaigns within portfolio to ensure strategy execution, appropriate governance and shareholders approvals are delivered.
• Work closely with key business leaders to develop business plan, ensuring the optimal use of resources and demonstrate TD’s operating model to improve efficiency, effectiveness and scale.
• Build a team of marketers in all aspects of marketing. Provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, handling employee performance and compensation decisions as required.
• Supervise and lead a large and/or highly complex and diverse portfolio for an area of significant complexity, scope or risk, while growing talent, developing skills and capabilities to achieve career goals, support project / initiative success and achieve business results.
