What is the opportunity?

Are you passionate about investment analysis, financial modeling and high-impact decision-making? The Enterprise Decisioning team in RBC’s Finance group is looking for a Senior Manager to join a high-performing, collaborative group that partners directly with business leaders and bank executives. This is a high-profile, enterprise-wide role that offers visibility across the company and the opportunity to shape strategic investments at the highest levels.

From major internal initiatives to mergers and acquisitions, you will help to evaluate investments that drive long‑term value for the organization. You will support critical decisions that affect the future of the business by providing sound financial analysis, clear business case development and strategic insights.

What will you do?
  • Develop business cases – Partner with business units to build well‑written investment proposals that support executive decision‑making.
  • Financial modeling and analysis – Create and review financial models that help guide smart capital allocation decisions. Conduct post‑investment performance assessments.
  • Executive engagement – Support senior executives and decision‑makers, assisting with clear, insightful financial advisory services.
  • Collaborate across teams – Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise to align investment strategies and priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance decision‑support tools.
  • Be agile – Thrive in and enjoy a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines, often under pressure.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
  • Proven experience in investment analysis, financial advisory, or corporate finance, within a business environment
  • CA, MBA, CFA designation (or enrollment in CFA program) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills with an understanding of financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Very strong ability to synthesize large amounts of data and distill it into insights
  • Ability to clearly articulate business cases and recommendations to a diverse group of stakeholders, including executives
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn on the fly, and able to deliver high quality work under tight timelines
  • Collaborative, self‑motivated, and excited to be part of a supportive team that value innovation and learning
