Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for large infrastructure projects worldwide. The role focuses on hydropower, water treatment, and major water infrastructure, coordinating discipline estimators and providing constructability input.

Candidates should have extensive estimating experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and proficiency with leading estimating tools. Travel domestically and internationally is possible.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cost/estimating, construction practice, and engineering design.
• Experience estimating hydropower, water, wastewater, or heavy mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules across disciplines.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports and estimate execution plans for major efforts.
• Review design documents to identify risks and opportunities related to competitive pricing.
