Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator in Ontario to lead and coordinate large multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for water infrastructure projects worldwide. You will supervise discipline estimators, guide execution plans, and ensure estimate defensibility.

Responsibilities cover hydropower, water/wastewater plants, dams, pipelines, and conveyance systems, with travel as needed. Flexible work arrangements and office/remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping systems, or major water infrastructure projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users
• Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to risk analyses
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure estimate defensibility
