Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development of large-scale, multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for water infrastructure projects.

The role involves coordinating discipline estimators and guiding team execution on projects from hydropower to water treatment facilities, with global reach and domestic/international travel potential. You will drive estimate strategy, validate quantities, and ensure defensible cost baselines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping systems, or major water infrastructure projects is required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules; validate quantities from drawings.
Develop detailed estimates for water treatment processes, pumping stations, pipelines, dams, turbines, and related infrastructure.
Coordinate and compile information from all estimating disciplines into one estimate; develop execution plans.
Prepare labor-force work plans and basis of cost estimate deliverables; establish site-specific estimating criteria.
