Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for global infrastructure projects, with a focus on hydroelectric facilities and electrical systems.

You will coordinate teams of estimators, manage data from civil, structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines, and engage with clients and stakeholders. The role emphasizes leadership, detailed estimation, and collaboration across international projects, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
• Experience with hydroelectric generation, substations, power systems, utility infrastructure, transmission, distribution, or electrical balance-of-plant projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Develop estimate execution plans and labor-force work plans.
• Interface with management and client counterparts for estimating tasks.
