Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator in Canada to develop and manage large multi-discipline infrastructure cost estimates and schedules.

The role involves coordinating teams across disciplines, supporting design milestones, and guiding estimate execution for projects ranging from millions to billions of dollars. You will lead cost estimation across hydroelectric, substations, and power infrastructure domains, collaborating with estimators, schedulers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role.
• Experience with hydroelectric generation, substations, power systems, or utility infrastructure is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Prepare detailed labor-force work plans for estimating activities.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders for estimating tasks.
• Identify risks and opportunities impacting cost and schedule.
• Support procurement, change, and claims valuation.
