Job Description

Position Overview: We seek a dynamic, results-oriented Sr. Human Resources Manager to support and collaborate with the Sales, IT, Finance, and Growth teams, as part of a broader HR network across the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with a talented team.

Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources – Canada, you will drive HR strategies, foster a high-performing culture, and align people initiatives with business goals across diverse functions. The ideal candidate is strategic, communicative, proactive, and passionate about organizational success through its people.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Partner with leaders and Talent Acquisition to develop recruiting strategies and ensure effective onboarding.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, resolve conflicts, and implement initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management and Development: Support goal setting, feedback, reviews, and identify training needs.
  • HR Strategy and Business Partnering: Collaborate with leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and provide data-driven insights.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Ensure competitive pay structures, educate on benefits, and liaise with payroll.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to laws and policies, updating them as needed.
  • Workforce Planning and Organizational Design: Assist in structuring teams and supporting growth initiatives.
  • Change Management: Support organizational changes, communicate effectively, and promote new systems and processes.

Some travel will be required to support the team effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; HR designation preferred
  • 7-10 years of HR management experience, preferably in a multi-functional organization with multi-province experience
  • Strong relationship-building, knowledge of employment laws, excellent communication, negotiation skills, and HR technology proficiency

This is a fully on-site role with approximately 20% travel required.
