This full-time, in-office position based in SW Calgary is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a variety of clients while leading the sales and business development team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Lead, coach, and support the sales and business development team to achieve targets and drive growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and enter new markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular meetings and ongoing communication.
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on contracts and proposals to ensure timely client onboarding and deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams—including operations, marketing, and leadership—to ensure alignment and smooth execution of client projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, team performance, and client engagement strategies.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company, build connections, and generate new business leads.
  • Monitor KPIs and sales metrics to track progress and report results to senior leadership.
  • Manage daily priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability through consistent follow-up.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews to support employee development.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to guide decision-making.

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is considered an asset.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as local travel to client meetings and events is expected.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management or business development leadership role is required.

  • Client Relationship Management– Skilled in building and maintaining strong, long-term client partnerships.

  • CRM & Sales Tools Proficiency– Familiar with customer relationship management software.
  • Networking & Event Engagement– Comfortable representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Attention to Detail– Thorough in follow-up, documentation, and client communications.
  • Negotiation Skills– Skilled in navigating and closing deals that align with company goals.
  • Adaptability– Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Base Salary:

  • Salary based on experrience.

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
