Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in health and safety, preferably in commercial construction or electrical contracting.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA, construction regulations, and electrical safety standards.
• COR experience (audit prep, maintenance, certification).
• Experience managing safety programs in office and active construction sites.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety management systems (Site Docs).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and programs.
• Maintain COR certification, including audits, documentation and continuous improvement.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate safety training, onboarding, toolbox talks, and certification tracking.
• Support project teams with JHAs and site-specific safety plans.
• Prepare for and participate in safety audits, site inspections, and regulatory visits.
• Track, analyze, and report safety performance metrics to senior management.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through communication and engagement.
