Job summary

Manulife's Experience Office is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance innovative solutions across the full software lifecycle. You will work on scalable APIs, data solutions, and web applications in a fast-paced Agile team, mentoring peers and upholding engineering excellence.

The role requires 7+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and cloud-native development in Azure or PCF. Banking/FS or insurance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and OOP with design patterns.
• Advanced SQL Server experience and relational design.
• Experience with REST APIs, MVC, and modern web frameworks.
• Cloud-native development with Azure/PCF and CI/CD pipelines.
• Financial services or insurance domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications.
• Build scalable APIs, web apps, and data solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Promote engineering best practices, CI/CD, and test automation.
