Job summary

Manulife Financial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance scalable solutions within an Agile team. You will develop full‑stack applications, APIs, and data services on Azure/PCF, following modern design patterns and CI/CD practices.

You will mentor peers, contribute to automated testing and documentation, and collaborate across functional teams to deliver customer‑focused digital experiences for financial services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and OOP/design patterns.
• Advanced SQL Server experience with complex queries and relational design.
• Experience building REST APIs, Web API, MVC, and modern web frameworks like React or Angular.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development using Azure and PCF.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or Insurance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities
