Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in editorial and translation roles within structured environments.
• Extensive experience as a French Content Editor for digital marketing/public-facing content.
• Native-level French with strong English proficiency.
• Degree in Translation or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of French-Canadian linguistic and cultural requirements.
• Experience coordinating translation projects with external agencies.
• Working knowledge of Trados Studio, MemoQ, and CAT tools.
• Knowledge of OQLF standards and terminology resources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate translation requests with external translation agencies and vendors.
• Review, edit, and proofread English-to-French marketing content for digital platforms.
• Ensure French content meets editorial standards, grammar, tone, and accuracy.
• Apply French-Canadian linguistic and cultural nuances to content.
• Maintain and contribute to French editorial standards and terminology.
• Support content across websites, mobile apps, and digital channels.
• Ensure content follows accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Manage translation/editorial requests and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with marketing teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Occasionally perform direct translation when required.
