We are currently recruiting for a newly created position with a leader in their industry, due to ongoing growth. If you’re a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) coming from a large accounting firm and are ready for your next challenge, this is an incredible opportunity to elevate your career!

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary
• Review of business unit cash and balance sheets to ensure adherence to working capital metrics/targets
• Business partner with portfolio companies and provide financial guidance to senior leadership
• Complete quarterly disclosure packages to ensure accuracy and completeness for key risk accounts
• Management reporting including presentation of consolidated forecasts and variance analysis
• Own the consolidated BU forecast and presentation of forecast and assumptions to business leads
• Perform analysis for variances, key performance indicators, operational metrics, and ad hoc requests
• Coordinate with portfolio businesses for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
• Manage the month-end closing process and controllership duties with the offshore accounting team

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Experience auditing complex companies under IFRS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
