About the role:

The Deal Desk team works closely with Sales to drive market wins and meet revenue targets. We are a collaborative, global team from diverse backgrounds, focused on making the Deal Desk a great place to grow. You will be a key player in helping achieve growth by advising Sales on deal structuring, financial evaluation, risk mitigation, and process improvements to ensure smooth deal closures and customer satisfaction. This remote position is open to candidates in Canada.

In this role, you will:
  • Guide deal structuring and execution, balancing customer experience, revenue, and compliance.
  • Advise on deal structure, discounting, and commercial terms to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Analyze deal financials to meet departmental and company targets.
  • Ensure deals align with policies and revenue recognition standards.
  • Support the North America Deal Desk support requests and quote approvals, maintaining SLAs.
  • Read and understand financial statements for business decisions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to close deals and provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in training Sales teams and identify process improvements for efficiency.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles across global teams.
Minimum requirements:
  • 3+ years in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations.
  • Understanding of SaaS deal structures and revenue implications.
  • Ability to analyze deal economics and communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate internal processes.
  • Experience in high-growth environments and results-driven mindset.
  • Attention to detail with strategic perspective.
  • Time management skills and responsiveness, including during peak periods.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Excel.
