Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a senior F&B leader to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple outlets in Banff. You will provide hands-on leadership, especially in the absence of outlet managers, and ensure seamless service, guest satisfaction, and brand alignment.

You will deliver structured onboarding for F&B managers, supervise labour, recruit middle-management, and drive menu development, beverage programming, and promotional activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Minimum of 5 years senior level experience operating a 4+ million diverse food and beverage operation.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field.
• Pro Serve certificate; Sommelier qualification an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead all aspects of day-to-day food and beverage operations across multiple outlets.
• Provide on-floor coverage and hands-on operational leadership, particularly in the absence of outlet managers.
• Be present during peak periods, manager transitions, or unexpected absences to maintain continuity.
• Deliver structured, consistent training and onboarding for all F&B managers, including SOPs and departmental tools.
• Standardize and lead training for all salaried leaders; ensure brand standards and policies.
• Conduct F&B Orientation for leadership teams with ongoing coaching.
• Monitor labour management at the manager level: schedules, staffing, time off, payroll.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of middle-management.
• Collaborate with managers to improve labour productivity and planning for activations/events.
• Lead menu engineering and collaborate on menu development and beverage programs.
