Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation in Banff, Alberta, seeks a Food and Beverage Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our outlets, ensuring top service quality, guest satisfaction and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will oversee front-of-house operations, coordinate with culinary and events teams, manage staffing, budgets, and training, and drive continuous improvements in service and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Several years of management experience in fast-paced food service or hospitality.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• ProServe required; ServSafe training & Health & Safety certification assets.
• Strong communication & supervisory skills; proficient with MS Word/Excel and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations for restaurant and banquet facilities.
• Develop and implement policies to enhance guest satisfaction and efficiency.
• Lead service team; manage reservations, dining room layouts, and seating flow.
• Ensure compliance with food service, health & safety, and SOP standards; perform checks/audits.
• Coordinate with other departments for events; supervise setup and service of functions.
• Recruiting, scheduling, training, and development of front-of-house staff; performance evaluations.
